Only after an cold boot Firefox hangs for 2 minutes when I start it. When I start Firefox a second time --> Fast. When I log off/on --> Fast. When I log off and login with other account --> Fast. When I reboot --> Slow. I use a SSD with Windows 10 I tried all sorts of things (delete user profile, reinstall firefox, newer version, safe mode, del srudb.dat, stop VirusScan, install 32-bit version, ...). Version 69/70 has this problem, Version 65 hasn't (our former version)
The only thing that helped was reinstall the PC, but that is not a usable solution (more than 1000 PC's). In the eventviewer there are errors that seems to be related (sorry in Dutch):

I'm having a persistent problem with Firefox and my computer. After browsing for a while when I open a new tab and try to load a web page large parts of Firefox become unresponsive, for example I can close other tabs, move tabs, use websites in other Firefox windows largely unaffected but I cannot view other tabs in the window I opened the crashing tab. The unresponsive tab just sits there with a loading animation in the tab name, white screen, what ever website I tried to visit cleared from the address bar.
Opening additional tabs is possible but the crashing window will not switch to those tabs, while in another window I can open a new tab but actually visiting a site or opening a link in a new tab will crash that window.
Opening new windows once I'm crashing results in a crashed window regardless if I use the empty page or load a URL.
Lastly if I click on a link before a tab crashes nothing will happen. No tab will open, no tabs will crash, the link won't turn purple. But at this point I can go fully about my business reading the existing loaded content in all my working tabs and windows. Opening the link in a new tab with context menus will crash the new tab immediately.
Once a tab has crashed I am forced to close the browser. It usually takes a while to fully shutdown, but it's never unresponsive enough to need to be killed in the Task Manager.
And sometimes this entire process corrupts my profile and I get to re-login to everything on the web again.
Now, here's the frustrating part. I don't know how to troubleshoot this. The issue has persisted through: - Firefox versions 67, 68, and 70 - My machine was re-imaged with a new Windows image when I was upgraded to an SSD. The previous image didn't have Firefox preinstalled, the new image did(68). I purged that and installed 70 and the issue continues. - I have disabled hardware acceleration multiple times(because my profile keeps getting reset). - There are no crash logs. - I haven't taken to time to reproduce the error with no extensions but I've A/B tested that I can crash running just uBlock or just Tusk. I'm not running a lot of extensions because the profile keeps getting reset. - Firefox isn't actually crashing, no crash reports are being generated, Windows event log is clean.

I have a laptop running windows 10 and thats fine. I am running windows 10. I have tried all the bookmark solutions but nothing works. I think their must be corruption in th eregisatry perhaps.

I've been using sync from its very first version on number of windows PCs and, later on, on my android phone. I had got syncing enabled for everything, apart firefox extensions.
Today I was searching for a password on my work pc firefox (whereas I've got a master password to protect stuff). Just when I was about to pick the information I needed from the firefox embedded lockwise, there was a notification on the bar prompting me to check things up on the sync pages.
Doing so, I noticed that all syncs became disabled! The only firefox section remaining sync'ed was (IIRC) "connections" .
I checked my mobile, to find out that the same thing happened on my sync'ed android firefox. Is this a bug or a feature? Shouldn't we be notified for something so big regarding sync?

Ever since i installed a PCI-E slot wifi card my system was freezing but after uninstalling firefox and using chrome there have been 0 crashes.
It usually happens when watching a Video (Youtube/Twitch).
Disabling hardware acceleration decreases crash in Firefox but it still crashes some time.
Basically what happens is the computer freezes, the audio keeps playing for while until i press crtl alt delete and then it all freezes up.
There seems to be a conflict between Firefox Version, latest nvidia drivers + the wifi drivers (Gigabyte GC-WB1733D-I)
Everything was updated to lastest drivers, including Bios, Motherboard, Graphics, and Wifi, Firefox version.

When a web interface offers image upload options, Firefox 70.0.1 on Windows 10 does not offer up any regular jpg or jpeg file extensions. All I get by default is that weird jfif format, together with png. What's that all about, and how can I fix it?
Image uploads work fine if I choose to display "all files", but something's amiss with the filtering there.
On a related note, Firefox used to save regular jpg images in its own Save Image As dialogue as jfif files too. I had to teach it to do this in jpg instead. Might be a related issue?

I use a music publishing site to publish my own sheet music. Quite recently one of the features of the website has stopped working. There is an option after a file has been uploaded to view it on my account page as a popup. Files are stored on the site as pdfs. There are also sound files which do not have issues. The attached is a screengrab of what i am seeing.
The feature works ok in IE/Edge, but I have reasons not to use those browsers. I much prefer Firefox.

There are several posts on this site regarding uninstalling Firefox. I am running current Firefox on current W10 64bit 1903 desktop PC using Ethernet with Spectrum as my ISP. I am having a couple of problems in Firefox that are not happening in current Chrome. 1. Page-not-found 2-8 times a day that resolve every time by simply clicking the "retry" (or something close to that) button. I reset my router to "factory" and installed most current router firmware but that did not help. Netgear Support has been unable to help. 2. In current LastPass addon, I have to re-login to LastPass every time I start Firefox - did not used to do that (a year ago), and in Chrome or Edge that does not happen. I have re-installed the LastPass add-on. I have upgraded Firefox many times and have cleared history/cache many times. So now I want to COMPLETELY remove Firefox, reboot, and then install Firefox from scratch. Can someone please point me to the web page that tells me how to properly remove all of Firefox so that I can re-download/install it from the beginning? I do not care about retaining my Firefox settings or other from my current Firefox install.

Since yesterday afternoon (all was well in the morning) Facebook will not open in Firefox (on neither desktop nor laptop), but opens and operates perfectly well in Chrome. But I don't want to use Chrome and don't even have it installed on my laptop.
So far, I've refreshed Firefox (what a nuisance), I've cleared cache and cookies, I've started in safe mode, I've "forgotten the site" and I've run out of options. I really do like Firefox now that I've gotten used to it and I'm really not in the mood to go browser shopping again or go back to Chrome. Here's a screen capture of what FB looks like signed in with Firefox.
And, I do not use the FB container. I haven't changed in setting in Firefox or added extensions in several months. My extensions are: ABP (tried with disabled and enabled), Qwant, Kaspersky, and PocketTube.
What am I missing?

What am I doing wrong? From reading the developer documentation ' "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private-window url' should work but it doesn't. Thanks.
