changing the language in the settings does not change the language in browser developer tools. I would like the language in the browser developer tools to be English.

I have attached two screenshot. The red zone is always in French. I would like it to be in English. However, I changed the language in the settings. the second screenshot shows that I changed the language from French to English. But why this language change did not affect the development tools

Thanks in advance

Hi everybody this will be a long question, and I would be really grateful for any kind of help anyone could give me, this is my case:

I use `firefox-sync` to manage all my logins information and firefox-sync's password is the unique password I save manually.

Currently I has problems with my O.S and I decided reinstall it. But also I have 2FA enable for mostly of my accounts, and firefox-sync is not the exception, and firefox-sync's 2FA is based on my gmail, so when I tried get logged on firefox-sync, firefox asks me for my verification code, but my verification code is in my gmail, and my gmail's password is in firefox-sync.

So I lost access to all my accounts, I lose my gmail, github, gitlab, stackoverflow, discord, etc etc... :'(

From the gmail side, I tried all that gmail let me try but unsuccessfully.

So, the only possibility that I see, is recover the information of the formatted partition and rebuild the previous state of Firefox. I mean:

Reading about firefox loggins, and taking a look to firefox's workdir (`$HOME/.mozilla`), I see firefox saves login's info in a json file located in `$HOME/.mozilla/$profile$/logins.json`.

So the basic idea is with a data recovery tool, try recover `.mozilla`s directory and replace it over the current environment so when I start firefox can get access to my login's info. But I'm not sure how much it is possible to recover the whole directory, and if is not posible, my question is:

What files next to `logins.json` should be my recovery targets to replace inside the `.mozilla` folder in order to reconstruct my accounts login information?

If you use Full Screen a lot you'll notice that when your mouse cursor is near the top of the screen it often activates the appearance of the Address and Menu bars and whatever other toolbars you have working. The whole screen suddenly jolts down. Then up as soon as the cursor moves down. I cannot imagine the mindset of the designer that implemented it; must have been someone poor on the keyboard that uses the mouse as much as possible. Alt+D activates the toolbar! We don't need any mouse cursor to display it. Especially as we need to type anyway to use the Address Bar. I searched Add-Ons but couldn't find anything. Any ideas of how to stop the cursor from activating the toolbars? Anything in about:config maybe? Anything I can edit in the files? Please! Let's get some sanity back to Firefox Full Screen.

Home built. PC Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS

Since we have update our OS from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (a few days ago) Firefox has only shown a Blank screen at first start up, only the very top line is visible showing "Activities" then "Firefox Web Browser". Nothing will work, the only thing that does is Quit.

Restarting Firefox the second time seems to work Okay.

Please can you advise me?

Hello, for my study I'm searching a lot of information on different websites for different school subjects and have currently accumulated over 1000 tabs open/active in my Firefox (web) on my laptop. I usually open websites and don't close them with the assumption and just to be on the safe side I might need them later. However, I would like to group/bundle these tabs into different categories according to the subjects I'm working to keep it manageable. Is this possible (preferably not by means of an add-on)?

When trying to navigate to websites I very frequently receive the error message, "www.google.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR". (1) This is an intermittent behavior happening on websites that were accessible previously and then become accessible again on later attempts, (2) It happens on websites that I have used satisfactorily for years. (3) It happens on ones for hospitals, banks, etc. which are known to be secure. This occurs after waiting for a period of time, like a timeout error would. I do let my copy of Firefox do its default auto updates.

Please advise how to end these errors so that I can reliably use Firefox again.

I recently had to reinstall firefox due to a few issues. Before the reinstall, when I opened a new tab it would open as my home page. After I reinstalled it, I was able to set up my homepage URL but there is no option for new tabs to open wth the same page. The only options for new tabs are blank page or the default firefox homepage. This was never an issue before the reinstall.

How do I fix this? Has the option been moved somewhere else?

Without my doing anything, firefox has decided to download pdf files in its own html. I have changed the default to adobe rather than ask. When I open the downloaded file in adobe it comes down as an adobe file, I tell it to save as an adobe pdf, but it appears in file manager and then opens in firefox html. Worse, it, whatever it is, has gone into file manager and changed adobe pdf files, some of which have been sitting on my hard drive for some years, into firefox html files. How do I rectify this please?
