Every time I upgrade Firefox, my Bookmarks disappear.

Could you plase tell me how to get them back and prevent this happening in the future.

Hi My bookmarks are not working when I click on them nothing happens. I've been using Firefox successfully for a number of years so I can't understand why they have suddenly stopped taking me to the bookmarked page! Please help

Hi. I would like to sort all my bookmarks by date, regardless of the folder in which they are stored. Is there a way to see all my bookmarks on a single page/folder? Thank you

So the deal is I reinstall my parents windows 10 . The sync on Firefox was on , but they forgot the password after resting the password i lost all my data. The Question is i got access to old Firefox folder and i can see there folder Bookmarksbackup can i restore my bookmarks somehow with this file ?

updated firefox to the latest edition and have lost all bookmarks. Looked at all the articles tried several and no results still no book marks. Please help. a very senior citizen

I updated to the latest v of Firefox, now my bookmark folder dropdown menus open to the right of the screen, not the left as before. How do I restore the previous behavior? I can't find a clear command anywhere.

All of a sudden pressing Ctrl-Shift-B no longer opens my Bookmarks window (Library), but instead closes my bookmarks toolbar!

Is there a way to revert this shortcut back to what it's been for the longest time?

I know the "new" combination is Ctrl-Shift-O but I've used the old one so often (maybe 50 times a day), that this change is nerve-racking.

If i set Bookmarks Toolbar option to Always Show, everything works fine, the toolbar is displayed all the time. Now, if i set Bookmarks Toolbar option to Only Show on New Tab the toolbar is not displayed anywhere. You can't see it in the new tab or the current tab.

I tested it with FF 85.0.2 (64-bit) and with FF Developer Editition 86.0b9 (64-bit)

I have two bookmarks menu folders with identical bookmarks in win 10. One has an icon, but deleting one bookmarked web address in either deletes it in both bookmark folders!

I keep my Bookmarks Sidebar open. It works properly for a few minutes and then it doesn't. The behavior it shows is as follows.

1. It quits scrolling. I have to click the web page and go back to the sidebar to scroll again. 2. It scrambles the bookmarks when I click one. 3. When I click one bookmark it opens some other one.

Basically it acts crazy. The one fix I have found is when it is acting up and I close and reopen the sidebar it starts working properly again for a while. Then the problems repeats until I close and reopen the sidebar.

Hi I have a folder which I imported from IE years ago which has all my bookmarked sites which I save my most used bookmarks to on a regular basis. As Firefox was running very slow, I refreshed it making sure to uncheck bookmarks in the refresh exercise. When I've just opened Firefox this 'imported from IE' is no where to be found. I'm completely distraught that this is lost as I can't replace the whole number of bookmarks that I've saved. Please help!

My homepage is set to AOL. The "Open New Tab" used to display 6 or 7 webpage links I could click on instead of diving into my bookmarks. I clicked on a small button in the upper corner and after making a few changes. Now the new tab is totally blank. Would like to restore the original setting without uninstalling and re-installing Firefox.

I would like to save my bookmarks to a folder and transfer it to a flash drive so that when my computer crashes {which it eventually will because all I could afford was a cheap piece of crap and I had to reset the thing once already}, I can just retrieve the folder from the flash drive and put them in Firefox when I download a new copy on the computer after reset.

I can turn on and of my bookmarks bar but it doesn't show any bookmarks no matter how i am trying to save them (by catching padlock icon and moving it to the bar or simply adding a bookmark)

Firefox has a banner at start-up asking if I wanted to speed it up. I did the Fresh because it said it would keep all my bookmarks. But they were all deleted!! It is stopping me from bookmarking anything now. I tried to restore with a back-up date and it shows the file was empty. Help, Please!

I recently updated Microsoft Office from 2016 to 2019. My bookmarks have been inflated, duplicated, ecc. The problem is when i eliminate the bookmarks that i donot need, they keep appearing / displaying again automaticaly. I have also said donot sync bookmarks but to no avail.

Hello. I recently updated my GMail account password and updated its Firefox bookmark. But in the list of stored bookmarks, I see both accounts with their update dates. But they are always the same account, and not 2 different. I would like to clean up the bookmark list by removing the older one. How should I do?
