Stupid bar search bar nonsense pops up under the URL window when I try to type in a URL. GO AWAY! I have turned all that cr... off but still it is there. No. no no ! Oh it's still doing it.
Hot keys, key combos etc. I write email, mash small keys on laptop, email gone. Get huffy. Just no. Can you FOCUS the whatever so that all hot keys etc are DISABLED.
I would write something offensive in Russian right here but my Russian is very bad. Sorry. ( It will get better one day)

The current update in Firefox has NOTHING to do with me. Nothing that is added or fixed has anything to do with my system or how I use the browser. (This happens FREQUENTLY) I am getting NAGGED by Firefox to install it. (Settings are be notified about updates, I choose when to install). .
I always check and read the detailed release notes. I REALLY resent being forced to install updates that do not relate to my system or what I do in any way!
Please Firefox, PROVIDE OPTIONS to SKIP updates! This feature/option is LONG LONG OVERDUE! Make it so!

Hi experts, recently I installed and run Firefox Quantum 65.02 64 Bit Edition. I was very pleased with all. I am writing this request since I truly want Firefox Quantum be the best ever. I found some bugs but I will start with the most important request : the Bookmarks need your help. The Bookmarks are set in a JSON format file and Import can lead to an XML format file. The bug is that you cannot restructure or rename many bookmarks (Favorites) in Explorer mode as I can do with IE.v11. As example : with the Favorites folder of IEv11, I can Manage or Rename many .URLs simultaneously. So we need the Firefox Quantum developers to have a JSON to URL converter tool so that we can manage the many Firefox Q bookmarks in Explorer simultaneously. It will be a kind of Bookmarks Folder in Explorer ... That will be great. Then Firefox Quantum will make then background URL to JSON conversion so that it will update all the Bookmarks in Firefox Quantum ... I hope that you can convey this IMPORTANT Feature directly to the Developer Group concerned by Bookmarks. 2019 0310 1732.

This is for the mozilla firefox developers: I wonder why firefox is getting less and less customizable by default as it was in earlier days. Now with Firefox 65 again you repeadedly change a lot so we have to look around for new tuning tips again, that is no fun!

For all users. Also the functions how tabs and links open is too less so we always have to install addons or tune about:config if possible. Like: - New tabs from all entries url bar, searchbar, bookmarks - open tab (also new ones) next to current

1-FireFox is full of ads and Firefox ad blocker is weak it doesn't even block most ads! when I click on something a new tap get opened and I find a page or a website or something I have no relation with it! For example I am in a modding website and I click on search button then a new tap comes and I find another website or page about how to be rich and that is not what I want!. By the way a lot of people prefer Google Chrome browser because it has no ads however I prefer Firefox browser please remove the ads from firefox, Make firefox browser clean of ads.
2-Where is the register button?! I took maybe 15 minutes to find a solution to register in this website then I knew that the only way to register is by volunteering but I don't want to volunteer I just want to register to ask a question! I am sure that I am not the only one who is talking about that there is no register button, Please put a register button so people can register quickly.
3-I have an old account and I forgot its password so I wrote my email to receive a password reset link and I waited maybe 2 minutes or 1 minute and I didn't receive the link so I tried again by writing my email and again I didn't receive the link!

I love Firefox, however it's missing a feature that would help me a lot.
I'm a developer and I switch between the Development and Production web site a lot.
I'm worried I do some action in Production thinking I'm in the Develop one. To minimize the risk there are some measures I take. 1- I use a different user in the Development version 2- The Development version as a different color 3- I use a different browser for Production (Chromium)
I would like to start using Firefox in Production too, but in order to make it safe I need to be able to change the Firefox icon in the Operating system status bar. This way I always see with icon in the Operation System status bar I should click to go to the Production Browser. If for security reasons the Firefox icon can not be changed for each profile, then if you add a "save to desktop" chrome like feature it should do the trick. In my particular use case, since the Development version does not have the favicon, It would be enough to Firefox display the favicon of the current selected tab instead of the Firefox icon.

You seem to arbitrarily decide to eliminate numerous add-ons. For years I have been using and working with Scrapbook. By upgrading to Firefox Quantum, all of a sudden somebody decided to call this program 'legacy software' (whatever that is!) and pretty much eliminate it. I had many files on scrapbook which now I cannot access and seem to have just vaporized. This is not a professional way of running and managing a web browser used by millions. Who makes these decisions and based on what criteria you decide to eliminate add-ons without notification. Once an add-on is listed on your site, then one assumes that it could be used and will be there for the foreseeable future. If you want to eliminate whole bunch of add-ons then you need to have a much much stricter criteria for putting them in your list in the first place.

I know that 80 tabs everyday is too much but I like to left article to read or eBay web page to search later. Thank You for this effort. I try Chrome but its slowing down Mac computers after few hours, even Safari is a piece of s...trash.
Please just install small button for feedback so it will be easier to write positive comment or give you idea what we ( customers need)

Quantum is a mess, a serious loss of functionality because it removes the rich, powerful suite of add-ons/tools. These tools were what made Firefox so popular among the tech literate and a go-to for tech companies that used browser add-ons to create internal tools.
This is not just a complaint against change, I dearly hope you are listening and recognize what a disaster this is shaping up to be. The "speed difference" between modern browsers (non-mobile) is so negligible that it is meaningless... customization and the ability to use 3rd party privacy software are the hallmarks of tech literate users (which are and have been your base). Please do not disregard this, the 'upgrade' to Quantum smacks of executive level decisions that are badly out of touch with reality (or a dev team that is not equipped to handle a major release). If you abandon your users to chase Edge/Chrome users, you will simply cease to be relevant.
Please revert or release a 'classic' version (with legacy add-on support) or this will be the end of Firefox. This is a product management level decision but Mozilla has no future against Edge/Chrome if this course is maintained. It is ironic that you are destroying your own market position, all but handing the big two the future. If this is the future of Firefox, I will make sure to recommend against Mozilla products in the future.

When I started Firefox today, I was directed to a survey about local news. The URL looked trustworthy, so I answered all questions best I could and tried to submit the form. It blocked, telling me that I had not answered one question :-(
The question in question (pun intended) was multiple choice with more than one answer allowed. It asked me whether I would normally share local news via various social media channels. But I dislike social media so I had not selected any option.
Unfortunately the survey maker required at least one selected option. Obviously there is no place in today's world for people like me :-(
Result: I buckled and selected ALL options. This allowed me to complete the survey. My apologies for the unreliable survey results!
Recommended solution: Please add an option "None of the above" to this question.
Alternative solution (more polite, IMHO): Allow users to skip questions that they do not want to answer.

Then, in the last 2 days, my Firefox both reverted back from my Google to their preferred Yahoo search, and stopped showing the seconds along with the hour and minute in the time presenting feature at the top right of the screen.
