A few times I have missed messages that have have been inadvertently placed in the Accounts Spam Folder. Is it possible to to indicate that the Spam Folder has contents in the same way contents are indicated in other Account Folders?

Thunderbird has been working well, but all of a sudden it stopped sending my emails from aol accounts. I have tried many internet solutions and nothing is working.

I'm using Mozilla's Firefox Debian package, Firefox 155.0.1 (64-bit), on a desktop. Until this version, my compose key worked with no problem, in Firefox and all other applications. Now it works with all other applications, but not Firefox.

My .bashrc includes this line: export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim

I checked about:config, and focusmanager.testmode is set to false.

Any ideas? I can't type my name without the compose key...

My Thunderbird Account was updated by TB on 2 September. Since then all of my new emails go to Trash. Although I've tried the various responses to such questions, I've been unable to change the problem and get my new emails to come into my Inbox. I'd very much like your assistance please. Thank you.

These are some things I have explored:

   • It is happening whether I look at emails in Thunderbird or through Gmail on Google Chrome
   • Even if I clickndrag them from deleted to inbox they fall back into deleted.
   • I’ve tried gmail/settings/all settings/filters and there aren’t any
   • I’ve tried gmail/settings/all settings/forwarding and there aren’t any
   • If I access Gmail via Microsoft Edge, the emails stay in Inbox
   • I’ve looked at various things in Thunderbird and unticked something in ‘When New emails arrive’ because I thought that might work.  

It started happening about a week ago.

This problem happened after the September update. No changes to any message filters. I am not the only one having this problem. What changed in the update that could have caused this problem? I have had to delete the problem account from Thunderbird because every time I move the messages back to the Inbox in Outlook, Thunderbird would move them back to Delete.

Hi, I am using Firefox For a few years, but for last 1 year my workload is high and I usually need to open several tabs. After I keep tabs open for a while, firefox becomes slow. Closing a few tabs help but I want to know what is causing it. IS there a way to check which tab or extension is causing it? I am using latest firefox on windows 11.

I need to remove the line that is added when you reply to emails. It adds added steps when cutting and pasting when I quoting emails when replying.

I have multiple profiles with multiple emails in each profile.

I found a thread here dated 2016 that instructed to add this to the css file.

I didn't have en excisting css file I could fine so I created a folder. >chrome > and put a userContent.css file within that.

Has anybody else experienced a similar problem? Or can you help me trouble shoot this issue please?

I'm busy playing audio in a tab of the browser. The sound quality is good (rich, full, deep). Next, I open a new window by any means (Ctrl+N / Open link in new window / Menu > New window) As the new window appears, the current audio playback becomes tinny / lower quality. After a 3 seconds, the normal good sound quality starts again.

I'm currently using Bluetooth connected headphones and this happens on different headphones. I have to find some wired headphones first before I can try that. This happens with every new window that I open, regardless of the number of open tabs in current windows or how many previous open windows I already have. This happens regadless if audio enhancements of the output device are enabled or not. Spatial sound is set to off. Windows is set to 'do nothing' & will not adjust the volumes of different sounds when I'm using my PC to place or receive telephone calls.

OS: Windows 11 with latest patches Firefox: latest & older builds Hardware drivers: All manufacturer drivers applied

PS I can replicate this issue by changing between the 'Playback' & 'Recording' tab in the Sound Control Panel applet. That is to say, the same decrease in audio quality happens when I change from the Playback tab to the Recording tab. Help! My bookmarks tool bar is missing & I cant recover it because your instructions for locating the menu bar don't match what your instructions display. There is NO AltGr displays a bookmark menu BUT I CANT MOVE IT TO MY TOOL BAR. There is NO selected tab, NO menu bar; NO bookmark tool displayed. I have also lost all of my downloads. This has happened in the last month; everything was fine. I am 82 years old & NOT a techie so expect better help than I have received so far during the last frustrating 2 hours of trying to follow Firefox instructions that DO NOT APPLY TO ME. Also the "add images" function @ bottom of this page won't let me send you a copy of the instructions you display to select the bookmark menu bar ... I click on the picture of the problem & nothing happens ... just dead no access to select pictures either.

I have NOT changed my internet provider; I have not changed any settings. This all happened two weeks ago. Called internet provider & they said it was Firefox issue!!! Very unhappy.

I usually have checked the option for clearing cookies and site data every time I close Firefox. However there is an exception list where I add sites I visit often and I prefer to keep its browsing data. This list of exceptions seems to be ignored. The sites I have in the list lose all their browsing data.

The only solution I have found so far is not check the option to clear browsing data.

I remember this function stopped working correctly right after I decided to wipe all browsing data manually.

Whilst exploring settings I managed to create a second duplicate "stgilb@optusnet.com.au" account/profile, ie two inboxes,drafts,sent,spam & trash. In trying to eliminate the duplicate I succeeded in creating a triplicate. How do I return to a single account/profile?

A solution would be greatly appreciated.

I use Firefox under Fedora (I'm two OS versions behind, must upgrade soon). I open very many tabs each day then work through them, theoretically every day, in practice they accumulate and I deal with them when I can. I rely on the tabs loading correctly on restart, but today they didn't, instead the set of tabs that were opened a few days ago loaded, and I lost everything I had done since then. Is there a way to retrieve the tabs that were opened just before this happened, ie around 15-20 hours ago? Ideally, again, I would merge them with the current ones, but reopening the old ones would take much much longer than reopening the new ones. Thank you for any advice.

I do not wish any of my passwords to be stored anywhere it isn't absolutely necessary. My own highly secure method I've been using for many years is listing them all on a removable drive that is encrypted and only in my PC's when necessary. Therefore, I wish to disable any and all PW Managers in the software I use. Please instruct me how to permanently disable the PW Manager in all Mozilla software.

I went out of the USA on May to Ecuador and Peru, and on the same day the Android version of Thunderbird stopped retrieving new email from the server. I have used Thunderbird pointed to the same server on Windows 11 and Android successfully for years. I thought it might be something to do with being out of the country, but now I'm back in the USA, and sync account on Android still does not retrieve new mail that has accumulated since May 4th. I've been following my email using a webmail access so I know there's lots of new mail. I've closed and reopened Thunderbird on the Android, and I've tried sync account with the webmail access closed. I have not yet tried Thunderbird on my windows 11 laptop because I'm still not home yet. Any suggestions welcomed, thank you for your help!
