My New Tab Icon doesn't Work anymore, how can I fix it?

more options

When I click on my new tab icon NOTHING happens. This just recently started. I have re-booted my machine and re-started Firefox all to no avail.

Neither does Ctrl+T work, nor the New Tab menu item. I Hate having to go to Internet explorer. Please Help. Thanks.

Could you try Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?
