What is the incompatible software? Someone here might know of a workaround for it. A user advocate also could reach out to the company if it's a popular application.

The following article has the link you're looking for: Install an older version of Firefox.

How are we supposed to download the Firefox 19 ?? there is no install button, just a bunch of folders that I do not understand. I cannot get smartswipe to work with Firefox 23 and I read that it last worked with Firefox 19 so I would like to download an installable version for Windows 7

kimhouseofthor, see https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/19.0/ and select your operating system, and download.

Hi kimhouseofthor, did you check that information with the company? See: http://smartswipe.ca/support

I'm not sure how important SmartSwipe is to you, but rolling back 5 versions is a bad idea from a security perspective. Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release and your security software might not be able to protect you from having your computer exploited through these vulnerabilities.

I understand what you are experiencing kimhouseofthor. I have a different problem but need the same answer.

There is some kind of glitch between Firefox and Office 365 that makes the Send/Discard/Attach buttons disappear. That alone is enough to make me want to switch back to Firefox 19. Ever since I went to 20, there have been problems of varying sorts.

When you go to the Mac folder, it gives you a large variety of folders that have 2 or 3 letter names, none of which make any sense to a novice user. Kim, you can go to Moderator deleted URL to an unapproved website for downloading Firefox and get the download. Just be VERY CAREFUL that you are clicking on the right thing - look for the old fashioned 3.5 inch disk and the work Download beside it.

Good luck. Firefox really needs to find a fix for this. Our whole school system is now being directed to use Safari instead since this is causing such a huge problem for us.

Hi betsi.vesser, you mentioned

When you go to the Mac folder, it gives you a large variety of folders that have 2 or 3 letter names, none of which make any sense to a novice user.

That could be the cache folder or a temp folder. You shouldn't need to dig around in that folder. What are you looking for in there?

Regarding the missing toolbar on Office 365 mail, that isn't related to your Firefox version. See the following posts/threads:

Hi betsi.vesser, regarding:

I thought you meant on your computer, but I realized you mean on the FTP server. Those are language codes. For English, look for the choices that start with "en" and have your preferred country code.

Thanks for the explanation!
