since the latest update, if I have three tabs open and select one to read it is automatically closed. I didn't X it out. There is also a scroll tab icon pops up whenever I want to enter a username or password and I have to click three or four times until I'm allowed to enter any information. This new update is making it difficult to use Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
