I had been using Firefox 8 for Windows 7, but I recently installed version 13.0. I am having problems viewing certain hebrew characters. Can you help me?
Specifically, the letter "י" with a Hiriq vowelization mark under it. I encountered this problem on this website, which I was always able to use without any problems: Mechon-Mamre. It turns into a box. I just noticed that the problem does not seem to exist on other websites. Can you help me?

That is a bug in Firefox 13 (may get fixed if there will be a Firefox 13.0.1 version).
- bug 756850 - Some combinations of Hebrew vowels and consonants not displayed in certain fonts with harfbuzz
(please do not comment in bug reports)
The problem seems to show up with certain fonts.
It work for me if DejaVu Sans is selected for the Hebrew encoding (Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced)
It also works if I disable harfbuzz by setting the gfx.font_rendering.harfbuzz.scripts to 3 or 1 on the about:config page.
