you can try to rearrange items for yourself by right-clicking on an empty spot on the tabbar & selecting "customize". maybe the item is showing up there & you can put it on the addon bar per drag and drop.

if this doesn't solve the problem, please contact the developer of the addon directly to get further help or sort out the problem: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox.../nosquint/

Did you check Zooming tab the Global settings of NoSquint to see if show current levels is enabled?

Yes it is enabled. When i looked to contact the developer it seemed i had to "register and pay" for the priviledge.

This first happened when I updated from FF 10-11

WONDERFUL! When I go to that URL to contact the developer, the page is in German.

well that's because i've just copy & pasted the url and my addons.mozilla.org page was set to german, apologies for that - those should work better:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nosquint/

https://urandom.ca/nosquint/#faq

have you already tried it via view > toolbars > customize as i suggested in the first post, this is also what the dev lists first on his faq page.

This goes way beyond my technical expertise. This problem has now persisted through two versions of firefox. I need a way to contact the developer in English and without a fee. i don't think that is asking a lot.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars#w_how-do... there certainly are no fees involved, both websites provide a normal email-adress for contact

You're welcome.

The establish an account and pay a fee was with a page for the developer. A moot point now.
