I am using the newest version of Firefox, but there is no twitter option in the google search box.

I have the newest version of Firefox (8) installed, but when I click on the search box at the top right of the browser, I do not have an option to select Twitter. I would be grateful for any suggestions :)

Try this.

Click on the search bar logo -> Manage Search Engines... -> Restore Defaults.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, unfortunately, the defaults option was 'grayed out', so I used the add-ons function in Firefox instead :)
