After first time for day, firefox could only be' opened as administrator'

Similar to: 'Firefox Application will not start unless in PC Safe Mode'

The first time for the day I can open Firefox : run as current user. After that I must run as administrator with its password.

This started a week or more ago. It has been inconvenient but I have the 'get around'. If trying to use an application's 'hot link', I must first 'run as administrator'.

I have found no error messages...

It seems if one Firefox window is open, I can open another
