I can no longer manually move and sort my bookmarks with the cursor
I can no longer manually move and sort my bookmark. This is a new problem. I could always place the cursor on the bookmark and move it to a different location.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
If not, see this:

Where and how are you trying to move the bookmarks?
In the sidebar or on the Bookmarks Toolbar or in the Library (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) ?
I'm placing the cursor on the bookmark and trying to move it up.
Are you trying to do that in the Bookmarks menu?
Did you try if it works in Safe mode ?
It's the bookmark I'm trying to move up by holding down the cursor and trying to manually move it up to a higher place. I did go into Safe mode but then the bookmarks aren't there.
It is still not clear to me where you are trying to move the bookmark.
Can you attach a screenshot?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Okay, I just tried but will have to change the type of image. I'm trying to click and drag a bookmark. I've always been able to do that. My Firefox version is 3.616.
Bookmarks menu. I'm trying to move the bottom ones up into the middle of the menu.
I was able to Cut & Paste by going to Bookmarks/Organize. I've always been able to drag & drop before. It was faster but at least now I can move them around to organize.
Instead of Drag-&-Drop you can also use Cut-&-Paste from the context menu (or from the Bookmarks Manager "Edit" menu, or the Library window "Organize" menu).
