when viewing a pdf document how do I change the default or pre-set magnification?
Anytime I am directed to a pdf document by a website it opens the pdf file at 173% magnification. It tells you to open the menu to change the pre-set magnification, but I don't see a menu to open.

For the viewing controls in Adobe Reader (just below the tabs) see: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Reader/9.0/index.html
Update Java. Your version has known security issues. Your version 1.6.0_21, current version 1.6.0_22.
- Check your plugin versions: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
- Note: plugin check page does not have information on all plugin versions
- Update Java:
- Download and update instructions: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using+the+Java+plugin+with+Firefox
- Removing old versions (if needed): http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/remove_olderversions.xml
- Remove multiple Java Console extensions (if needed): http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions
- After the installation, start Firefox and check your version again.
This didn't help at all. Obviously you don't know the answer either. Did you read the question or just direct me to the standard un-helpful files?
Maybe you did not include enough information in your question or your question was not specific enough since your reply indicates that you have already asked the question and have received an unsatisfactory answer. Please attach a screen shot demonstrating the magnification. Also include written information about where you are seeing the 173% or other magnification value that you are seeing on the image that you attach.
