I need more Quick links

Agent virtuel replied

I need more Quick Links. 32 Quick Links is not enough. I am a project manager and have the need to be able to add an unlimited number of Quick Link Icons my main page. Is there a way to do that and if so how do I add more to my main page. If the answer is no, then when will I be able to add more Quick Links.

Hello,

32 quick links is quite a bit. Anyways, to add more quick links, open a new tab, and hover over an empty space in the shortcut grid and add manually the website. If it doesn't work, you can try looking for extensions that can help you add more quick links.

Keep in mind you can use the bookmarks bar, and to fit more, abbreviate the bookmark name.

Hello

If you wish to test the preference, browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows

1 - Go to configuration editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox 2 - Enter a search term browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows

Clarification, if during your test, you can no longer add a link, then. Delete the last link added, to be able to recover, add.

To complement, screenshot 2, for information, with userContent.css https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/firefox-home-screen-shortcuts-more-rows-please/idc-p/104075/highlight/true#M54807

You can edit (pencil icon) browser.newtabpage.pinned and copy the content and save (from time to time to your convenience) into a file (a backup) in case, if one day, if the need arises, then you have a backup to copy in browser.newtabpage.pinned.

If one day, if the need arise (e.g new profil) First, Add a Shortcut https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page

Then, go to about:config, the preference, browser.newtabpage.pinned. Then, delete the content of browser.newtabpage.pinned. Then, copy the content of your backup and paste into browser.newtabpage.pinned and save. Restart Firefox.
