Firefox is no longer playing audio from the Internet. I am running Firefox on Windows 11, and have the latest update installed (10/29/25). What happened? How do I fix this.

I am 99.5% sure this is a Firefox issue, as I have no problem playing audio files stored in my computer, and no problem playing Internet audio using Chrome or Edge.

Help!

Nevermind. Googled and found the answer. Firefox audio was switched off in the Windows Volume Mixer. How this happened I have no idea -- I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Windows Volume Mixer. Anyway, case closed.
