get rid yahoo popup ads

I'm not anywhere close to understanding how to change anything (not technology-suave) so need BIG help on getting rid of ad popups when I'm on email account!

I love Firefox and until lately (before I had to replace my old STOLEN laptop with a new one) and using Yahoo... I have been plagued with hundreds of popup ads! Don't like GOOGLE... think they may be BIG BROTHER!

HELP (simple instructions only for an 80 year old)!

That isn't a firefox issue but yahoo support to deal with this to resolve your yahoo popups. Otherwise a computer shop is where you need to take this to resolve this issue.
