Primary account email required for sign-in error
From the subject line - I keep getting this error when trying to use Firefox Sync on my Windows 10 desktop. Sync already works on Mac and Android, and I've already verified that I'm using my primary email to login.
Chosen solution
I managed to get Sync to work by opening a Private Browsing window and signing in using the same email and password.

Without a screenshot error of the sync on the Windows 10 sign saying what the error is - anyone reading will not know what is happening. And what you should also do is to determine which device is the actual data store of the sync info so that when all are logged off you can sync back properly when the Windows 10 machine can login to the sync option. Remember sync isn't something that one should use as a Backup - that isn't what sync is for.

Did you previously used this profile with that old primary email address ?
