Facebook container and recent news about tax prep websites

The Markup published an article yesterday revealing how some of the biggest tax preparation websites out there are passing confidential information back to Meta/Facebook.

It appears that this is something that the Facebook Container plugin would block, but I wanted to double-check and make sure.

I'm sure Facebook Container would block FB content in third party pages. That is its main feature.

But you also can increase your Enhanced Tracking Protection level from "Standard" to "Strict" to make sure the Meta Pixel is blocked in all windows (by default, it is only blocked in private windows). See: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop.
