Two days ago I tried to log into my Facebook account of several years and was told my email address was not connected to the account. Having tried every which way possible to log in I simply cannot . Now I am being treated like a criminal by Facebook. Their website suggests I contact my emil provider hence this mail.

Your email provider is the address after the @ of your email as you appear to have a @virginmedia.com email address and if the issue is with that email then you need to contact virginmedia support. Also the issue is with Facebook as nobody here or at Mozilla can do anything about your Facebook account.

This does not make sense.

Firefox in this case is a web browser as this is a community support forum run by the company Mozilla. The desktop Firefox web browsers is just one of the things being supported here as you can see on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/
