Firefox has become very slow lately.
Firefox has become very slow for some two weeks om my desktop with Linux Xubuntu 18.04. Some sites can be approached without problems except for the speed, other sites are opened after some time, but freeze so that scrolling and clicking on links won't work. I tried to find an answer in the Settings......

Thanks again, jonzn4SUSE! How stupid can one be? I tried without VPN and Bingo!! Have downloaded and installed firefox-102.0 and so far it is working fine again.

Who are you using for DNS? Try downloading Firefox from Mozilla, run it from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
Thank you, jonzn4SUSE, I tried to download the link but got the message that it could not be opened. I use the Ziggo provider from the Netherlands together with Surfshark VPN for some years without problems. These problems started a couple of weeks ago after a Firefox update (I think).
Have you tried without VPN?
