I downloaded several files and I can see them when I click on the little arrow, but when I look for them in my computer downloaded file , they aren't there. I go back up to the little arrow and it shows the file was downloaded, but it's not in my computer . So when I went back up to the little arrow and right clicked on it to open --it worked, the file opened, but it never showed up on my computer. The next day I tried to find the file in my computer but no success. I went to Firefox drop down and under downloads the file showed up, but I couldn't do anything with it. So now I can't find it on my computer and it doesn't work when I use it from Firefox's drop down selection. I have downloaded several other files with no problem. Here is the file. https://www.benefits.va.gov/HOMELOANS/documents/docs/VA_Buyers_Guide.pdf HELP Ron

Chosen solution

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Check the options on where the file is being downloaded. If you are using a download manager, check its settings also.

Thank you very much. I realize that it was my fault not realizing that when I thought that I was downloading the file, I was not. I picked the option of open instead of save. ops, very sorry, and thank you for you quick response. Ron
