Hi, this one is not really false. Now file downloads over a http protocol are marked as insecure.

To turn it off, enter about:config in the URL bar and switch the dom.block_download_insecure preference to false. Or, for this specific file, you can just click the right arrow in the download panel and accept this file.

I have the same question. My company definitely uses https (we checked) but gets the same error message. We also checked the analytics and our links conversions from Firefox dropped over 70% for the last few months.

The error message says that to-be-downloaded "file is using an insecure connection." - not sure what this means, both files and links are clean.

Where may I report a false positive?

You can check this download in the Network Monitor to check the URL and see if there are redirects.
