Recently Firefox seems to be prompting for the primary (master) password even when it has been running for a while and I have unlocked the password manager. This making me wonder if there is some malware that is trying to get my saved logins. [I don't see any unfamiliar addons/plugins.] The other possibility is that there is a setting that changed that relocks the password manager after a specified period, or if/when I lock the computer. But I can't find anything that looks like a match in about:config: There is a setting for security.password.lifetime, but I the only information on it is contradictory, and does not match what I experience. -Nath Rao
