Attached is a screenshot of what I saw early 6/9 when I opened Firefox. I had about 40 tabs open at the time, none of which seemed to be hogging power or memory. At first I had some apps running (you can see which ones in the task bar), and then closed most of those apps but all the other tabs had the same issue. I restarted, and just as soon as I clicked "Restart", Windows crashed and said "...have run into an unexpected error". Don't remember if there was an error code (I don't think so). After the check and restart, a new version of Firefox launched and seems to be working currently.

Any guesses as to why this happened?

Meant to say that I'm running Windows 10 and that all my drivers are up to date. My laptop is a major brand and is only a couple of years old and has plenty of RAM and CPU power.

Also, I had about 70 tabs running, not 40. That's a lot, but none of them seemed to be slowing things down.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
