Persistent window tab configurations

Hello,

I tend to have Firefox running with two multi-account containers - one for work and one for personal accounts. Typically I tend to have a window open with work tabs and a separate window with personal tabs. Often I close this and recall them with ctrl+shift+n. However I sometimes find that popups will get into the stack of closed windows - either things like paypal pop-outs or Visual Studio starting a browser when debugging. Done enough times I loose the window (and all the tabs) that I previously had (as the stack of closed windows only seems to hold 2-3 windows).

Is there any way to mark a window / tab configuration as 'persistent' so that even if I close that window & open others I can restore that particular window / tab configuration? Ideally without having to manually save it somewhere each time - I tend to like to just pick up with personal work where I left off rather than saving a set of default tabs.

Thanks in advance!
