automatic upgrades

I do not want and never requested "automatic upgrades". I want them stopped and if possible the last several "upgrades" reversed. How can I get this accomplished. It's bad enough that "google" has it's fingers in everything as it is without "upgrades" I don't want and didn't ask for, and have done nothing to make things work any better. In fact it's gotten worse. If anyone knows how I can contact firefox directly it would be most appreciated.

Like most applications, Firefox automatically updated. There's usually a new major version number release every four weeks.

You can set Firefox to check for updates and notify you and wait until you approve before downloading. That's on the Options page. (Use the tiny search box at the top to search for updates to filter the page.)

What features don't you like in Firefox 86? It might be possible to turn them off or revert them to their old behavior.
