Failure to save preferences

In https://www.tvtv.ca/bc/abbotsford/v2t5t1/lu36260D I opt to save my favorite channels. They then appear whenever I go to the site. Until-- I leave Firefox or reboot the computer and the favorites are no longer available. If I do the same thing in Chrome, it remembers the preferences at all times, including after rebooting. Is there a way to make Firefox work as well as Chrome on this issue?

Hi, are you logged in to the site, and saving the list to your account settings?

If not, the list might be saved in (or a reference to the list might be saved in) a cookie. And possibly your Firefox dumps that cookie when you quit it. Do you know whether cookies for other sites are getting lost between sessions?

Logged into the site and click on the Save option of the program. Works fine on Chrome. Don't know about a cookie but I haven't dumped the cookies for quite a while. Other sites seem to work OK when options are being saved, for instance a weather app that remembers which locations I have established.
