Is there a way to set the page that opens on startup independently of the home button?

I want my home button to take me to a page that I use most of the time but I want my startup page to be something more neutral like a search engine or about:blank. Or if there was a feature in Customize Firefox that let you add your own button that directed you to a web page that would be cool too!
