Does Mozilla 'Block' Specific 'Social Network' Sites?

I've been having serious log-in problems, as well as 'action' problems when visiting the Gab 'social network' site. I'm 'kicked' almost every time I attempt to post, 'like', and 'comment'.

I've attempted to inquire to the gab staff as to why this is occurring. I've received comment that this is a 'mozilla' issue and that 'mozilla doesn't like gab'. I pointed out that these problems aren't exclusive to my use of the Firefox browser. But I do use Firefox as my browser of choice.

It was suggested that I clear 'cookies', browse in 'anonymous' mode, not use the 'dissenter' plug-in', etc.

I explained that I clear cookies after every session - everywhere. That these problems happen when I'm in a session and the cookies shouldn't be a problem. I almost always browse in a 'private window'. And I never use the dissenter plug-in but always log-in at the site.

I've attached a three screenshots from a few times I had a 'kick' and a forced log-in when in session. Please advise as to what may be occurring here. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

Thanks for the reply FredMcD - I've already tried the cookies and cache suggestions: doesn't solve the problems.

I haven't tried the 'safe mode' suggestion. I guess I can do that the next time I try a session. I've turned off 'enhanced tracking' as well: doesn't solve the problems.

Are you suggesting that if the 'safe mode' prevents the problems I should always use that? If that's the case, it's not worth the trouble for one 'social network' site. Why would this be? I have no problems like this with any other site I visit.

Hm.

Firefox's Safe Mode is a diagnostic tool to temporarily bypass your add-ons and disable a few features that can cause stability and display issues.

Firefox private windows have some storage restrictions that can impact sites that don't work around them. If Gab works for you in a regular window but not a private window, it could be that, or it might be that you have different extensions enabled in regular and private windows (ability to run in private windows can be set on the Details panel for each individual extension).
