Just to clarify, are you able to open Firefox for Android at all?

I am not sure that I had the Startscreen the very first time, it was later that i saw that the startscreen was not there ! but the very first time I managed somehow to find settings and there I tried to install another search machine - Startpage - but it ended up to be : Startpagina ! and now that I am thinking of it, can it be that Starpagina is causing this problem ?

Hi, before I deleted Firefox I saw that i had a "normal" one & also a Beta version, scrolling down on the "normal" one I saw a notice that I coud not use it on Android ! after deleting both, I reinstalled the Beta version, but I still have the same problem ! No Starscreen ! I get a Welcome screen and also a screen Mozilla Services ( with making an account, which kind of services - like Sync - but if i to try Sync, I see no Firefox account pictogram on top of the screen, and at the bottom I see 3 dots but if I tick on them there is no Set-up in the little screen that appaers ! after trying it a few times I now always get the message that Firefox has crashed ! so I am getting desperate ! do you know if there is a step by step manuel on how to set up Firefox on Android ? How comes that I don't have to do all these things on my laptop ? sorry, but knowing nothing off PC's & Smartphones, to my they are simular, so I would say the installation should be simular also ! Please can you open Firefox for Android, and press the power and volume "-" button on your device to take a screenshot

Please can you then attach that screenshot to a reply to this topic.

This will help me to see what you are seeing.

Hi Seburo, as i said before i installed FF on my laptop and after the download i could use it directly without making any settings, recently i bought my first smartphone , so i thought lets install FF also on it, but this time i always get all kind of other screens, and although i succeed in filling in a lot off things i never got back to the start screen ! I don't know yet how to work/handle properly with my smartphone, so for the time being i gone give up ! maybe i will try installing FF again later-on, when i am more familiar with it ; Sorry for bothering you with all my questions ! kind regards, Lucien
