Limited number of collections

I've noticed that the number of collections is limited to only 20. That low number itself is a pity. But adding the 21st and in consequence delete the oldest one from the 20 I don't understand and don't accept. Could you please issue an error message and state that a further collection is not possible due to having reached the maximum of 20. I should add that I noticed that behavior before I've registered for a Firefox account. Maybe people with and without an account are treated differently.
