Hello,

I have been running Firefox for a good long while, but as of little over a month ago it started crashing randomly on my Windows machine (MacOS seems perfectly stable). The crashes occur anywhere between few seconds after starting and hour+ after starting. They don't appear to be linked to any specific activity, and also occur while I'm not actively using the browser, or even using the computer.

I've gone through every "guide" I can find, disabling/removing add-ons, extensions, resetting configuration, deleting stuff incl whole profile folder, disabling hardware acceleration, using Default theme etc. Currently using it with add-ons disabled, and everything reset, but logged in as me and sync'ing Bookmarks, Tabs and Logins.

Only thing that seems to work is to run it in Safe Mode, but mimicking Safe Mode by disabling everything doesn't result in the same stability.

Windows is the latest build, drivers are the latest versions, Firefox is the latest version, currently 80.0.1 64-bit.

Hope someone might have a suggestion as to what to do,

Cheers, NC.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

That is currently giving me an otherwise blank page with the text, "No crash reports have been submitted."

Will try to let it crash a few more times and then return here.

Update: Have had several more crashes, about:crashes still reports that not reports have been submitted.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
