Firefox's workaround for resuming downloads is quite janky and should be updated.

In order to resume a download, there are currently far too many steps required to make it very user-friendly, as seen [here].

There should be a better, integrated way to reliably resume downloads, such as having the reload button next to the file automatically resume the download instead of starting it over.

This is especially important for very large files such as ISO's and archives.

You only need to use these additional steps if you download is interrupted. When you pause a download then you shouldn't have a problem to resume it assuming you still have the .part file.
