You tube seems to load properly, but the video I select to watch is blurry and when play is clicked I get the above error message.

What is an rtsp protocol and how do I fix this problem. No music= bummed out big time. Please help.

RTSP is Real-Time Streaming Protocol, which is used to transmit video feeds across the internet. It appears in a URL at the front like this:

         rtsp://blahblahblah...

Firefox, like all browsers, understands HTTP and HTTPS at the front. So, you have to have a program that understands RTSP, like VLC or mplayer, and tell Firefox to redirect the RTSP stream to it.

I don't like to link further instructions here because it is a change to settings in "about:config" and you must be careful when you do that (because you can do bad things to your setup). Google, of course, will respond correctly to a proper query.

Hope this helps.
