Dragging site information indicator (e.g. a lock) causes big box to appear

E.g. on this site now, clicking on the lock before the address and trying to drag it causes the address to appear at the top of a fairly large box (about 5 times the height of the bookmark bar).

I'm using the i3 window manager on Arch if that makes any difference.

Picture is of the "lock" I'm referring to. Don't know how to screenshot the issue itself though since I need to have the mouse.
