Why do I have to get a code each time I sign into Firefox?
Each time I log in I get a notice that I have to use an activation code that can be found in my email. Why does this happen. Why would I have to go to my email to get a code to activate my email? Catch 22? Thanks.

You need to get the code to verify that you are the account holder. It prevents someone who make have broken into your account from using the account for accessing your Firefox Sync data.
You should only have to get the code when signing into Firefox Sync to sync your data. That's normal and you can bypass that.
Signing into something like accounts.firefox.com or some other service using your account (like this forum), you generally shouldn't see the code.
