Once upon a time I could easily show or not show the background image for websites. Is that still possible? I'm happy to use an add-on if that's what it takes. I only need it for one site. Thank you.

Thank you for trying. I'm on a desktop and I do not have a 'settings' entry on any menu. Even assuming it is what my Firefox calls 'Options' isn't any help. 'Hide website' does not appear anywhere I have looked for it. Including Firefox help pages.

You can choose whether to show background images or not via "Options/Preferences -> General -> Colors".

  • Options/Preferences -> General: Fonts & Colors -> Colors

As an alternative you can look at "View -> Page Style -> No Style".

  • you can tap the Alt key or press the F10 key to show the hidden Menu Bar temporarily
