i use this version as i have been warned that the upgrades don't allow me to download off soundcloud, which is what i am using firefox for. my default browser is safari

why is it so important that i update? and will i still be able to download off soundcloud? (will it offer the 'prepare' option like it currently does?)

The version of Firefox you are running is over two years old, and has dozens of known security holes that have been fixed. It also does not have the latest performance and stability updates and is using very old technology. Software never sits still and you need to update to keep it secure.

I don't know why you wouldn't be able to download from SoundCloud, it's a website that won't change because of your browser
