logins will not delete

Hello. I have a list of logins when I go to AOL and I want to clear some out out. I am on Windows 10. As per the instructions I have found at this site, I try right clicking, seeing the drop down list of logins, highlight the one I want to delete, and hit DELETE. But the login is still there. I even tried clearing cache/cookies. But no luck. What am i doing wrong?

Hello MEFlyingV,

I don't think you used the arrow key on your keyboard ..... (?)

Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list Then highlight an entry in the drop-down list using the cursor Down key (arrow key) (Don't click the mouse and don't press Enter) Press the Delete key (on Mac  : Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry. Repeat till only the correct username is left. (Don't click the mouse and don't press Enter)

(Hovering with the mouse no longer works)

Does it work now  ?

You can also check the Password Manager.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Logins & Passwords: "Saved Logins" -> "Show Passwords"
