I want to change the behavior of my mouse extra buttons(e.g. 4th button mapped to reload the page)

I have already searched for answers, but the solutions I found told me to search for "mousebutton.4th.enabled" in "about:config", and it's not there

I'm not sure Firefox is aware of extra mouse buttons, but often your mouse driver software lets to assign key combinations to those buttons (such as Ctrl+r or F5 to reload).

Those preferences are not on the "about:config" page when you're on Linux ......
