Will not delete mail from outlook.com

This has been a problem for at least the last five versions of Firefox including the current one rendering the browser useless to me. Almost as soon as email is deleted from the in-box of Outlook.com it reappears--the whack-a-mole strategy is only intermittently effective. No other browser--Chrome,Edge, Credge, Opera--has this bug. Since it is such a consistent problem for me, deleting and reinstalling Firefox changed nada, I assume others have had to abandon Firefox for the same reason.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Thanks for the reply. I did this before and the problem recurred. It is not worth repeatedly going through these shenanigans when there are so many other browsers and mail programs that do not have problems deleting mail. Sad thing is that I have used Firefox for many years but I now have to avoid it.
