add on fix connection error
Hi, Since the add on problems, i've been trying to dowload the fix for firefox version 52.9.0 (xp32bit) How ever what ever i try, i get a message "unable to dowload due to connection failure" and tried everything, even re-installing firefox, still the same. Is there a way to dowload the fix, save in and run it as a file ? It is pretty annoying as i can't add any add ons and don't know what to do if i can't even download the fix from the website. Any help would be appreciated.

Download the file. After, drop it into the browser window.

Hi Thanks Fred, I did everything in your link and that didn't work so i save link as you said to get the fix and pasted it in the browser, this installed it, however still got the same issue when trying to get another add on and had to do it the same way for each of them and that worked. Not too bother about it as all i wanted was 2 add ons. Thank you ever so much as i was about to ditch firefox that i love and used since 2003 :)
