ubuntu 18.04 64bit, firefox 67.0 (64-Bit), 8 kernel processor, everything up to date, chromium runs fine. atop shows 4 processes webcontent, webextensions (think the api activity), all cpu load >90%. Safe mode, no addons, default configuration, google search engine. Not responsible, only menues , no tabs or pages open. after some minutes fans become loud and system crashes. No other Problems with this computer, all other installed software runs fine - chrome, webactivities, video, jack and pulse sound, office activity....
