Hello there,

I have recently switched to a new phone and I've been trying to remove previous 2FA settings but have not been able to. Clicking the "Disable" button does not do anything in my account settings. I would like this setting removed so I may restore it on my new device. Thank you.

Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox. Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All Of themIf the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Do you still have recovery codes that you can use?

You need a fresh login to the accounts.firefox.com website to be able to disable 2FA.

You may have to use a password reset.
