After having multipal tabs open all my tabs geet merged and blurred out. I have to maximize and minimize to correct the issue.
I have copied an image of what my tabs look like when this happens. This happens within the first few minutes of using my browser.
I'm using win 10 and firefox 63.0.1 (64-bit).

Whoa, that's truly strange.
Could you try disabling Firefox from using hardware acceleration? This is a potential workaround for incompatibilities between Firefox and your graphics card/chipset driver software. Hi, not sure if you received my reply. After applying the the suggested fixes the issue still remains. fwiw, I'm unable to replicate this issue in any other browser.
If you temporarily make the window resizable and then restore it to maximized, I assume the clears it up until the next time. The keyboard shortcuts for that are as follows.
Change from maximized to resizable:
Alt+Spacebar then R
Change from resizable to maximized:
Alt+Spacebar then X

Is full screen mode involved in triggering this? Either F11 full screen or the kind used by video players?
Otherwise, it's hard to think of any reason for Firefox to be redrawing the tabs bar.
It happens when I click to open another tab, sometimes after 3-4 tabs. I fix it by grabbing the top of the screen and moving it slightly. Another way I fix it is to maximize the vue if it’s not currently maximized. Usually happens after a minute or to of the above activity.
Hmm, there is a little size discrepancy in the overlap. Does it happen when Firefox starts making the tabs narrower so that more will fit on the bar?
I just opened 5 new tabs and it still happens with each tab saying "new tab" so "size discrepancy in the overlap" does not seem to matter.

Problem solved. I deleted "window Blinds" and apparently that does not play well with Firefox as the problem went away (forgot I had that running on this machine). Thank you for your assistance Jscher.
