There is a thing called "prime point" that has taken over any browser that I go to and limits my choices. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

This looks to be some sort of gadget from Amazon that limits my browser choices whether I go to Google or any other browser. Annoying...

That sounds more like malware then a firefox issue. You will have to search online for "prime point" and find what others have for solution on it.

Hello dervish12345,

It is obvious that you are dealing with malware - your system details show that you have this extension installed : Search Updater 1.0, which is not on the official addons.mozilla.org page.

Go to the Firefox menu (≡) Preferences => Add-ons => Extensions and (unless you installed this yourself) remove Search Updater 1.0.

Next step is to run malwarescans - further information can be found in this article :

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. They all work differently - what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.
