How can I change my decision not to save a password after choosing not to save it?

I mistakenly clicked on Don't Save when prompted to save a password. Now I can't figure out how to reverse that decision. The site doesn't block password saving. The site is not listed in Exceptions in the Password Manager. How do I get Firefox to prompt me for saving the password again so I can say Yes this time?

I you clicked not now then Firefox should offer to save the next time. If you clicked never then you created a blocked exception, You can remove this exception via the Options/Preferences.

The site I want to save the password for is not listed in Exceptions. I tried adding it, saving that, then removing it but that didn't work. Firefox still won't prompt me to save the password for the site.
