New tab focus customization

Hello.

Whenever I open a new tab, the focus (hoping it is the right term here, but I mean the cursor...) is in the address bar. I would rather the focus be in the search field on the Firefox new tab page and not in the address bar. I realize that searching via the address bar or the search bar has the same effect (as far as I know), but I was wondering if it can be changed anyhow. Maybe there is a setting to change the default focus of the new tab page to put the cursor in the search bar ?

For what it's worth, if I hit the home button, which I have set to the new tab page, the focus is actually in the search bar on the page and not in the address bar, as I prefer (for no rational reason, I realize).

Anyhow, if anyone as some advice, thanks in advance.
