I have used the productivity add-ons TabGroups Manager and Tab Mix Plus for nearly 10 years. My browser automatically updated last night to Firefox 57 and my add-ons are broken. This Quantum speed is nice but it pales in comparison to the severe impact on productivity that you have cause myself and our office with a broken browser.

Hello, sorry to ear that. Firefox has changed the way modules are built. Modules developers have to adapt their code to allow users to work with. Have you tried to contact these 2 modules developers?

Why do I need to contact these two developers. It is Mozilla's responsibility to work with them to make a smooth transition. First of all, we don't even understand why we have to depend on these two add-ons because Firefox is useless without them. When you do R&D and marketing it's frequent that we open hundreds of web sites. That's where Tab Groups Manager comes in to organize them into groups. The groups also supports suspend and exporting to file of all the tabs opened. Firefox has not lived up to what it set out to achieve. Not everyone needs flashy features for entertainment. I just care about tools for the office and Mozilla broke them without taking any responsibility. I'm pretty sure if someone actually worked at Mozzila answered it would be "you're free to use something else". Shame on them, this is disgraceful. I feel disgusted for recommending Firefox to so many people because now I myself have to take responsibility for helping them transition to a usable browser.

And this is exactly what Mozilla did :) For many months now developers are informed of this major update. I'm sure you will find another module to fit your needs but meanwhile you can work with the ESR

Why should I downgrade to ESR which looks like either v45 or a path that leads to picking up Firefox 59. Mozzila telling developers to change is akin to Microsoft flexing their muscle at all developers. Look at where Windows Mobile is now.

Hello, 52 ESR will be supported until May 2018, where it will upgrade to 59 ESR, by then a lot of your add-ons will have been ported with more and more APIs becoming available, thank you.
